Our club’s coaching staff: meet our coaches and mentors

At Riueks, we firmly believe that access to genuine professional expertise is one of the most valuable assets an esports club can offer its members. That is why we have assembled a team of experienced coaches and mentors who work directly with our players — both individually and in groups — to accelerate their development, hone their competitive mindset and prepare them for the demands of organised tournament competition. Our coaches aren’t just experienced players who happened to volunteer to help. They are people who have competed at a serious level, who understand what it takes to play successfully under pressure, and who have developed the ability to identify weaknesses, explain how to correct them, and motivate players to achieve results that exceed what they thought possible. Meeting them is one of the first things we recommend to every new member who joins Riueks with competitive ambitions.

Our coaches, their experience and achievements

Alexander ‘AceX’ Kovalsky

our head CS2 coach and the most decorated competitive player on our staff. Alexander competed professionally in CS2 tournaments for four years, reaching the top eight in the national championship twice and winning a regional invitational tournament three times. He was part of teams that participated in international qualifiers and possesses practical knowledge of what high-level organised play demands from every member of the squad. As a coach, he is known for his exceptional ability to analyse opponent behaviour and translate that analysis into practical, actionable adjustments that players can implement immediately.

Marta ‘Phantom’ Wisniewska

our Valorant specialist and one of the most respected players on the regional scene. Marta reached Radiant rank — the highest tier in the Valorant ranking system — for three consecutive seasons and was a key member of the team that won the regional Valorant championship in 2024. She has also participated in several open qualifiers for major European tournaments and brings an exceptionally deep understanding of agent composition, map control and team communication to her coaching. Marta is particularly valued by our female players and mixed teams for the inclusive and focused atmosphere she creates at every training session she leads.

Damian ‘IronForge’ Novak

our League of Legends and Dota 2 coach, who is responsible for both core MOBA titles in our competitive programme. Damian has reached Master tier in League of Legends and Ancient tier in Dota 2, having competed actively in both games at an organised level for over five years. He has twice won a series of League of Legends tournaments at city level and represented his region in national Dota 2 team competitions in 2023. Damian is known for his encyclopaedic knowledge of both games, his calm and methodical coaching style, and his particular ability to help teams develop the macro-level strategic thinking that distinguishes good players from truly competitive ones.

Tomasz ‘QuickDraw’ Jabłoński

our fighting games and FIFA coach, responsible for Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and the FIFA series in our competition calendar. Tomasz has competed in the fighting game community for seven years, placing in the top four at numerous regional events and winning the city Mortal Kombat championship in 2023 and 2024. In FIFA, he reached the elite division in FUT Champions for four consecutive seasons and competed in organised leagues at a regional level. In his coaching, Tomáš places particular emphasis on execution, mental resilience and match preparation, and is widely regarded among our members as one of the most motivating and energetic figures in the club.

What our coaches do and how they prepare you for tournaments

Working with Coach Riueks is a structured, focused experience designed to deliver a noticeable improvement in your competitive results. Every coaching interaction begins with an assessment session, during which the coach observes your play, identifies specific areas where improvement will have the greatest impact, and discusses your personal goals, tournament schedule and your current understanding of the game. Based on this, the coach develops a personalised development plan combining technical training, strategy study and simulated matches. Individual sessions focus on specific mechanics, habits and decision-making patterns that are holding back your performance. The coach will closely observe your play, pausing at critical moments to discuss decisions, introducing targeted exercises to address technical shortcomings, and encouraging you to think about the game at a deeper level than you have before. Group sessions bring together players of a similar level and focus on team dynamics, communication under pressure, and collective strategic thinking that helps win tournaments. Between sessions, coaches provide recommended study materials — match recordings, strategy guides and specific scenarios for analysis — which extends the development process beyond the hours you spend at the club. In the weeks leading up to the Riueks tournament, our coaches intensify their work with players and participating teams. Training sessions become more focused on preparation for the specific tournament — studying potential opponents, refining strategies and line-ups best suited to the specific format, training in conditions that simulate real competition, and working on the mental and emotional aspects of performance, which determine how well a player’s preparation translates into results on tournament day. Our coaches have helped numerous Riueks members achieve results at our tournaments that have far exceeded their own expectations, and this process of guided preparation and genuine breakthroughs in competition is one of the things we are most proud of at this club.

How to work with our coaches

Training sessions at Riueks are available to all club members. Individual sessions can be booked directly via our website by selecting your preferred coach, available time slots and the area you wish to work on. Group training sessions are held regularly and are listed in our events calendar alongside the tournament schedule. We recommend that new members who are serious about improving their competitive results book an initial assessment session as soon as possible — not because places are limited, but because the sooner you start working with a coach, the sooner you will see results in your game. Our coaches are genuinely committed to the progress of every player they work with, and this work begins from the very first session.
