Every tournament at Riueks begins long before the first match takes place. Our team meticulously plans each event several weeks in advance, choosing the game title, determining the format, setting the rules and preparing the club environment in line with the specific requirements of that competition. Once planning is complete, we announce the tournament on our website and social media, providing full details — date, format, player limits, entry fee, prize pool and rules — giving participants everything they need to decide whether to take part and to prepare. We believe that clear and honest communication prior to the event is just as important as the quality of the event itself, and we make every effort to ensure that every player who registers knows exactly what they are agreeing to.
1
Registration for all Riueks tournaments takes place via our website. Individual players and team captains complete the registration form, confirm payment and receive an automatic confirmation with all the necessary details regarding their participation. For team competitions, the captain registers on behalf of the entire squad and is responsible for ensuring that all team members are familiar with the rules, schedule and registration requirements. We limit the number of participants at each event — not to be exclusive, but to ensure that every participant receives the attention, access to equipment and competitive experience that our events are designed to provide. When registration reaches the maximum number of participants, we maintain a waiting list and contact players on the list immediately if a confirmed place becomes available.

On the eve and morning of each tournament, our technical team carries out thorough preparations to ensure the club is ready for top-level competition. Every station is checked and tested — equipment performance, software versions, peripheral connections, monitor settings and network stability are all verified and optimised. Game clients are updated to the latest version. Settings are standardised across all stations so that no player has a technical advantage or disadvantage depending on their assigned seat. The venue layout is adapted to the format of the specific event, whether it requires individual stations set up for focused solo play or group setups for team competitions. Everything is ready before the first player steps through the door.

Players and teams must arrive at Riueks at least thirty minutes before the scheduled start time of the tournament for registration. During registration, participants confirm their identity, receive information about their position in the tournament bracket or the group to which they have been assigned, and are escorted to their station. Once all participants have registered, our tournament organiser will conduct a mandatory briefing for all players. The briefing covers the day’s format, the specific rules and settings to be used, the code of conduct expected of all participants, the procedure for reporting technical issues, and the match schedule. We take the briefing seriously, as a well-informed player is a better opponent and a more cooperative participant, and because resolving misunderstandings before the tournament begins is far better than dealing with disputes during it.

Once the tournament begins, our team manages the tournament bracket, monitors the matches and ensures the event schedule is adhered to. Each match is started by an official tournament representative, who confirms that both sides are ready, checks the settings and gives the go-ahead. Results are recorded immediately after each match, and the tournament bracket is updated in real time on a screen visible throughout the club. Our organisers are present throughout the event to resolve any technical issues, answer questions and ensure that the competitive environment remains fair, focused and respectful. We stick to a tight schedule, but we never rush a match — if a technical issue interrupts play, we pause, resolve the issue and continue from where we left off. The integrity of each match is more important to us than strict adherence to the timetable.

Riueks tournaments are a competitive environment, and we expect high standards of behaviour from every participant. Our code of conduct is clearly communicated during the briefing and displayed in the venue throughout the event. We expect players to compete seriously and with respect — towards their opponents, our staff, and the equipment and premises they use. Unsportsmanlike behaviour, deliberately hindering opponents, foul language and any form of cheating are not permitted and will result in immediate disqualification. We adhere to these standards consistently and without exception, as we believe that a truly excellent competitive environment can only exist where everyone present feels respected, and the results reflect genuine skill and preparation, rather than anything else.

Every Riueks tournament concludes with an awards ceremony, during which the best participants are recognised, prizes are handed out, and the champion is congratulated in front of the whole club. We photograph and document our events and publish the results, highlights and tournament tables on our website and social media after each tournament. This is done not only for the benefit of the participants — it is part of our commitment to developing local esports and giving our players the recognition they deserve. After each event, we collect feedback from participants via a short survey, asking what went well, what could be improved, and what they would like to see at future tournaments. This feedback directly influences how we plan and run our next event, as we believe that the best tournaments are created through continuous improvement and genuine responsiveness to the community we serve.
